Our “SOS Medica Mongolia Ulaanbaatar International Hospital,” which started with 6 people, has now celebrated 20th anniversary. 

In the past 20 years, we were the first in Mongolia to receive the International Standard Certificate for the management of a healthcare institution in 2012. Today, we have expanded the scope of our hospital and obtained international certifications: ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety, ISO 15189:2012 Medical Laboratory, and ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System. These certifications are the main indicators of the quality of our hospital.  

At our celebration, we were honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including:

Group Managing Director of SOS International Hospital Group: Laurent Sabourin,

Regional General manager and Director of Southeast Asia: Jing Tan, 

General Manager Operations, SEA: Adrian Mendoza,

Our SOS Medica Mongolia UB International Clinic’s Clinic Manager Shirley Palmer,  

Head of the Maintenance department J. Sukhbaatar were awarded the highest state medal, the Polar Star awards.

Additionally, Chief Medical Officer of Oyu Tolgoi site clinic, Ts. Nadmidtseden & Dr B. Byambyakhuu, Chief Nurse of Oyu Tolgoi site clinic N. Buyannemeh received an honorary badge and certificate. We are all honored to receive government medals and awards from the Ministry of Health.
